# Zap2Doc

> Zap2Doc turns WhatsApp chat exports into chronological PDF documents with inline media and optional audio transcription.

## Product

- Input: a WhatsApp `.zip` export containing the chat text and any exported attachments.
- Output: a chronological PDF with participant colors, messages, images, attachment references, optional voice-note transcription, and optional video contact sheets, plus the same conversation as a Markdown (.md) file for AI tools — voice-note transcriptions inline and each day marked with the PDF page it starts on.
- Preview: upload and preview are free; payment is required to generate and download the complete retail PDF.
- Accounts: the individual converter requires no account. Zap2Doc Business uses an account for batch workflows.
- Languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Hindi, and Arabic. Arabic output supports right-to-left layout.
- Processing: the browser uploads the export to Zap2Doc's temporary cloud storage. Audio selected for transcription is sent to OpenAI's API. PDF rendering runs in Zap2Doc's PDF service.

## Retail pricing and transcription

The buyer's country determines the displayed currency and payment provider. The Standard offer includes up to 120 minutes of audio transcription and currently costs:

- US$5.99 in the default USD market
- 4,99 € in euro-area markets
- ₹299 in India
- R$19,90 in Brazil

Longer exports can choose Extended (up to 300 minutes) or a duration-priced Full transcription offer. Above 2,000 measured audio minutes, the largest public choice is High volume — up to 2,000 minutes. Standard remains available.

## Retention and privacy

- Individual-converter source ZIP: deleted within 24 hours after processing.
- Individual-converter PDF: available for 7 days after generation, then automatically deleted.
- Preview: deleted after payment.
- Zap2Doc Business uses the retention period attached to the account; unpaid batches and failed paid retries can follow different documented windows.
- Zap2Doc does not see or store payment-card details; Stripe or Mercado Pago handles payment information.

## Limits and fallbacks

- Standard, Extended, Full, and High-volume choices apply transcription-minute caps; audio outside the purchased cap is listed without a transcript.
- Oversized, corrupt, missing, or unsupported attachments degrade to a file reference instead of breaking the whole document.
- Large output can be split into multiple PDF parts.
- Video contact sheets are optional and subject to bounded rendering limits.
- A Zap2Doc PDF is a presentation layer. It does not authenticate an export, establish chain of custody, perform forensic examination, or provide legal advice.
